Growing up in Quebec, and now living in Vancouver, I've always been drawn to the natural beauty around me and the warm, shifting colours that the morning and evening sun produces each day. No matter which coast I’m on.

My progression to acrylic on canvas has been an evolution. I originally dabbled in oil painting, then moved to watercolours. I finally discovered acrylics, which I love to work with.

Sometimes I choose the topic. Sometimes the topic chooses me.

Like many, I started with smaller canvases in an attempt to produce more detailed paintings. I now work mostly on large canvases which provides me more freedom.

I love the zen-like quality that the painting process allows me. Brushes or knife, strokes are like words on paper.

My style can be described as versatile, mostly semi-abstract. My goal is to create an element in each painting that evokes a connection for people.
